Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Define and elevate Townsend’s brand across all markets and subsidiaries
  • Establish a clear, differentiated value proposition for utilities, co-ops, pipeline operators, and DOTs
  • Ensure consistency in messaging across regions while allowing for local market nuance
  • Lead brand integration efforts across acquisitions while preserving operational strengths
  • Partner with Sales and Operations to support key pursuits, bids, and customer expansion
  • Translate market insights into actionable strategies that drive revenue and margin
  • Develop targeted campaigns that position Townsend as the partner of choice in priority markets
  • Support geographic expansion and entry into new customer segments
  • Build a deep understanding of customer needs, procurement dynamics, and the competitive landscape
  • Identify trends across infrastructure sectors and translate them into strategic positioning

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 10+ years of experience in strategic marketing, brand leadership, or commercial strategy
  • Proven ability to translate business strategy into market positioning and growth initiatives
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence across functions
  • Experience building or scaling marketing capabilities in a growth-oriented environment
  • Data-driven mindset with a focus on measurable outcomes
  • Meet all physical requirements of the position.
  • Pass all drug and alcohol screens as required by Company policy and, if applicable, required by DOT regulations.
  • 18 years of age or older, or 21 if CDL is required.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

Nice To Have

  • Experience in infrastructure, utilities, industrial services, or a related field preferred.
