Job Summary

Own regional category strategy execution with channel and sales partners to grow distribution, drive GTM, and optimize SKUs for North America; partner cross-functionally to deliver trade plans, demand gen, and joint marketing while ensuring brand and portfolio alignment and health.

  • Portfolio health: lifecycle SKU management, SKU rationalization, and NOD-driven in/out transitions
  • Cross-functional collaboration: demand generation, joint marketing, and commercial partnerships with channel teams

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Partner with channel and sales teams to translate global STANLEY brand and category strategies into regional initiatives for North America.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to achieve market growth, distribution expansion, and sales/profit targets.
  • Direct connectivity across Retail, Commercial, and Distribution channels in the region.
  • Develop and execute regional category management strategies and GTM to maximize growth and expand STANLEY’s distribution footprint.
  • Drive adoption of focused trade and commercial partnership plans to accelerate category growth within targeted channels.
  • Collaborate with channel to drive demand generation activities and initiatives.
  • Build strong sell-in messaging to drive strategic relationships with key channel partners and accounts.
  • Co-develop business plans, joint marketing initiatives, and sales programs with channel partners.
  • Ensure seamless integration of STANLEY’s brand and product strategies within partner organizations.
  • Lead product lifecycle management initiatives for good/sku and bad sku to improve portfolio health, including SKU rationalization and smooth transitions.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of experience growing a portfolio and developing product/category marketing agendas into sustainable growth engines.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Background in innovation strategy, new product development, and product lifecycle management.
  • Demonstrated success in category management, channel strategy development, and commercial partnership building within North America, ideally in consumer durables or manufactured products.
  • Proven ability to drive distribution expansion and commercial growth through strategic channel and sales partnerships.
  • Multi-channel expertise (Retail, Commercial, Distribution) with strong commercial acumen, data-driven decision-making, and end-user centricity.
  • Travel domestically as needed.
