Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Digital Acceleration & Performance Marketing Leadership:
  • Own and drive digital growth strategy and execution across all relevant platforms, ensuring market-leading category growth within digital channels.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive performance marketing strategies to improve item conversion, increase traffic, and optimize online purchasing. This includes designing both offsite and onsite traffic strategies and plans, identifying retail search and digital content needs, and creating online merchandising strategies with continuous optimization.
  • Lead the integration and activation of digital media within Sam's Club's ecosystem, leveraging member insights and utilizing both P&G and Sam's media capabilities across Fabric, Home, and Family categories.
  • Leverage analytics and consumer insights to uncover actionable shopper motivations and barriers, translating these into effective digital marketing programs.
  • Define, align, and champion the digital vision for P&G at Sam's Club, collaborating with P&G and Sam's leadership to shape future digital activation strategies.
  • Utilize A/B testing, structured experimentation, and continuous optimization frameworks to refine campaign effectiveness, ad copy, creative assets, and landing page experiences on retailer platform.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as page views, conversion rates, incremental return on ad spend (iROAS) and overall incrementality to drive continuous improvement and optimize media investments and online content.
  • Digital Capability Building & Team Development:
  • Identify key digital capability gaps within the Sam's Club commercial organization and proactively develop supporting systems, training, and upskilling plans to fuel sustained digital growth across the team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree (e.g., MBA) preferred.
  • 8+ years of digital marketing experience, with a focus on performance marketing and digital acceleration within a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) company, preferably with experience in a club or mass retail environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in digital commerce fundamentals, marketing technology (AI, algorithms, off-the-shelf platforms), search strategy, content superiority, and overall digital ecosystem management.
  • Proven track record of delivering measurable business results and driving market share growth through effective, data-driven digital strategies and commercial acumen.
  • Superior Retail Execution: Deep understanding of retail and retailer dynamics, effective engagement across retailers and brands, and a focus on category growth.
  • Superior Brand Communication: Experience in media planning, media data analytics, and performance marketing.
  • Strong strategic, analytical, and leadership capabilities to influence diverse stakeholders, translate complex data and digital performance metrics into clear plans, and drive organizational change.
  • Exceptional learning agility, embracing an "at retail" speed entrepreneurial spirit and proactively seeking knowledge to expand impact.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence diverse stakeholders internally and externally, including senior retail partners.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
