Job Summary

Own end-to-end university video production, driving planning, shooting, editing, and distribution across promotions, events, testimonials, social, and recruitment to strengthen the university’s digital presence.

Plan, shoot, and edit videos across promotional, event, testimonials, social, and recruitment channels.
Collaborate with departments and communications to ensure audience-tailored content aligned with marketing strategy.
Manage shoots and assets, delivering polished, platform-optimized videos and new ideas to expand reach.

Job Description

Responsibilities

Plan, film, and edit a variety of video content for promotions, events, testimonials, social media, and recruitment.
Coordinate with departments to tailor content to different audiences.
Edit footage and audio, add graphics, effects, and music; deliver polished university-standard videos.
Collaborate with the communications team to align video projects with marketing strategies.
Manage shoot logistics, including location scouting, talent coordination, and scheduling.
Ensure videos are formatted and optimized for website, YouTube, social media, and email campaigns.
Maintain an organized library of video footage and ensure backups of digital assets.
Stay up to date with video production trends, tools, and techniques to improve quality.
Suggest new video ideas, formats, and platforms to enhance the university’s digital presence.
Maintain a consistent visual style and narrative across all video content.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Film, Video Production, Communications, Media Arts, or related field.
Proven experience in video production, including filming, editing, and post-production.
Must be able to lift 15 pounds.
