Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end category and go-to-market strategy for the wearables and hardware portfolio, from product launch through in-channel execution and sell-through, across first-party, retail, telco, and direct-to-consumer channels.
  • Build and lead a large, multidisciplinary organization spanning these functions, developing senior leaders and building bench.
  • Set multi-year channel and assortment strategy, including which products sell through which channels, partner and door prioritization, and the plans of record that guide launch and in-market execution.
  • Lead the introduction of new products into channel, translating product strategy into channel-ready launch plans, assortment, pricing execution, and partner readiness.
  • Own the channel side of international expansion, including in-country channel strategy, market-entry channel readiness, and partner activation, executing against the market priorities set by the commercial and product teams.
  • Lead business planning and operations across channels, including the annual and quarterly sales planning process, gap-to-goal management, forecasting inputs, budget allocation and reallocation, and the operating cadence of reviews and deliverables that keeps the business aligned.
  • Direct sales performance reporting, analytics, and business intelligence, turning channel and partner data into decisions and recommendations for sales leadership.
  • Own partner planning and management by tier, including joint business plans, partner goaling, and partner health, across retail, carrier, and direct-to-consumer.
  • Serve as the senior commercial voice to product and marketing leadership, ensuring product, pricing, and market decisions reflect channel reality and what partners and customers can absorb.
  • Integrate data and AI into planning and operations to sharpen forecasting, decision-making, and efficiency at scale.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in category management, go-to-market, retail or channel sales, or commercial strategy for consumer hardware, consumer electronics, or consumer packaged goods
  • Experience leading category and channel strategy and execution across first-party, third-party retail, carrier, and direct-to-consumer channels
  • Experience leading sales operations, business planning, or revenue operations, including planning, forecasting, performance reporting, partner planning, and budget management
  • Experience owning a commercial performance target (volume, sell-through, and/or profitability) for a consumer product portfolio
  • Experience building and scaling large, multidisciplinary teams and developing senior leaders
  • Experience operating at the intersection of product and commercial strategy, including influencing product, assortment, and pricing decisions
  • Experience managing complex external partnerships across retail, carrier, or manufacturing and licensing
  • Experience building operating models and processes that scale across large product catalogs and frequent launch cycles
  • Experience communicating with and influencing executive leadership

Preferred

  • Experience launching and scaling consumer electronics or wearables in global markets
  • Experience at a major omnichannel retailer or global consumer brand
  • Experience integrating AI and data tools into commercial planning and operations
  • Track record of building functions and operating models from the ground up in ambiguous, fast-changing environments
