Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership & Innovation: Develop and execute comprehensive paid social strategies aligned with client business objectives and agency goals. Drive innovation in paid social practices, staying ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies while collaborating with other departments to ensure integrated, cross-channel marketing solutions.
  • Team Management & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of paid social specialists, account coordinators, and strategists. Foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and excellence within the paid social department through ongoing training, 1:1 mentorship, internal meetings, and office hours. Opportunity to directly HR manage paid social specialists.
  • Client Relationship Management: Act as the senior point of contact for key clients on paid social matters, presenting high-level strategies, performance reports, and recommendations to C-suite executives and client teams while cultivating strong relationships with major clients and partners.
  • Performance & Budget Management: Oversee the performance of all paid social accounts across the agency’s client portfolio, implementing advanced analytics and attribution models to maximize ROAS and KPIs. Develop forecasting models and manage multi-million dollar paid social budgets across various clients and industries.
  • Account Operations & Optimization: lead daily oversight of campaign management including budget optimization, account migrations, campaign setup/restructuring, audience targeting, creative strategy implementation, pixel setup, product feed management, and ongoing auditing processes.
  • Vendor Relationships & Technology: Cultivate relationships with key vendors (Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest, etc.) to stay informed about product roadmaps and beta opportunities. Evaluate and recommend paid social tools, platforms, and technologies for agency adoption.
  • Business Development & Thought Leadership: Contribute to agency growth through pitches, proposal development, and identifying upselling opportunities. Lead the agency’s paid social thought leadership through content creation, conference speaking, award submissions, and industry research while supporting business development efforts.

Requirements

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications or related field experience. 5+ years of experience managing paid social media campaigns with a solid understanding of paid, earned and owned media. Prior agency experience preferred.
  • Technical Expertise: Expert proficiency in Meta Business Manager with relevant certifications. Proficiency managing additional paid social platforms (LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest, X). Strong analytical skills with excellent Excel proficiency and familiarity with Google Suite and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Leadership & Communication: Exceptional presentation and communication skills effective with C-suite executives and various stakeholder groups. Ability to train and mentor team members while managing both strategic initiatives and detailed campaign execution. Strong relationship-building skills with clients and partners.
  • Work Style & Attributes: Action-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail. Demonstrates adaptability, continuous learning mindset, and consistently upholds Revel’s values. Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Asana) and ability to translate technical concepts into business language.
