Responsibilities

• Support the design, planning and execution of effective marketing campaigns in line with the client’s desired outcome.
• Collaborate with VP of Strategy to develop a strategy aimed at achieving client goals that include budget, marketing, price, planning and targeted tactical expected results.
• Develop preliminary targeted strategies using research, tools and partnered analytic resources including database analysis and data mining of the current customer file, with potential development of response, risk, or conversion models.
• Collaboratively develop with VP of Strategy, testable data sources, offers, creative formats and copy platforms as well as potential cross-sell or upsell mapping (if applicable).
• Analyze campaign and program results and provide actionable recommendations for continued improvement.
• Be able to speak knowledgeably about and support presentation of all areas to prospective clients in the context of business development.
• Other duties assigned by Supervisor/Manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field, required.
• Master’s degree in marketing is a plus.
• Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a strategist or similar role.
• Prior experience in a direct marketing environment is strongly preferred.
• Diverse experience across industries, preferred.
• Proficiency in the English language, verbally and written.
• Proven knowledge with all types of direct marketing data, managing analytics and model development, application and testing.
• Understanding the key components of a successful direct mail creative package.
• Understanding or learning key performance indicators for each industry we serve.
• Motivated self-starter, confident in leading through expertise.
• Ability to initiate and prioritize multiple projects effectively.
