Job Summary

Own the multi-brand destination marketing for North Tahoe, steering brand, content, earned and paid media, partnerships, and stakeholder communications to drive local economic impact and sustainable tourism.

  • Brand and messaging ownership across three entities with aligned campaigns and stakeholder engagement.
  • Audience-focused content and digital strategy across sites, social, email, and video for residents, visitors, and partners.
  • Partnership development and program management with lodging, recreation, transportation, and government partners to unlock joint marketing opportunities and measurable outcomes.

Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Oversee brand strategy, positioning, messaging, and visual identity across the North Tahoe Community Alliance, North Tahoe Chamber, and Lake Tahoe Travel brands.
  • Ensure consistency of brand standards across all internal and partner-facing communications.
  • Translate complex community initiatives, public investments, and destination stewardship programs into clear and compelling communications for residents, businesses, visitors, and stakeholders.
  • Represent the organization at industry conferences, partner meetings, and tourism-related events, as well as on statewide committees and collaborations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with lodging, recreation, transportation, and community partners to advance destination-wide marketing initiatives on behalf of the North Tahoe Community Alliance, North Tahoe Chamber, and Lake Tahoe Travel.
  • Develop and direct an annual strategic marketing plan across channels for the North Tahoe Community Alliance, the North Tahoe Chamber, and Lake Tahoe Travel, each with distinct roles in the community yet functioning within a collaborative ecosystem.
  • Oversee development and content across websites, social media, and email channels on a daily, weekly, and seasonal basis.
  • Develop content that supports ongoing community engagement, including but not limited to public talking points, visuals, presentations, and more.
  • Oversee photography and videography to support all aspects of marketing.
  • Develop the organization’s Annual Report.
