Director of Marketing

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead an integrated marketing strategy aligned with company growth and revenue objectives.
• Identify and evaluate new opportunities to reach qualified customers, strengthen engagement, improve the customer experience, and grow the business, including developing business cases for promising initiatives.
• Lead integrated marketing campaigns across email, SMS, organic social media, website content, promotions, and other relevant channels.
• Own the promotional calendar, campaign strategy, messaging, creative direction, and coordination of marketing initiatives.
• Lead and strengthen the America’s Best House Plans brand, including brand voice, messaging, creative direction, and customer-facing communications.
• Develop go-to-market strategies and customer communication plans for new website features, services, programs, and company initiatives.
• Own the strategy and performance of email and SMS marketing, including promotional, educational, behavioral, and lifecycle programs, and identify opportunities to improve customer journeys, engagement, retention, and repeat purchases.
• Lead content, organic social media, community engagement, user-generated content, and other initiatives that grow brand awareness and authority.
• Identify PR, partnership, builder, designer, influencer, and third-party content opportunities that expand ABHP’s reach and credibility while strengthening relationships with our designer network.
• Partner with Ecommerce and external partners on content initiatives that strengthen SEO, AEO/AI search visibility, and brand authority.

Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant marketing experience, including meaningful experience owning marketing strategy and results.
• Demonstrated ability to identify growth opportunities, develop ideas independently, test new approaches, and turn successful concepts into scalable marketing programs.
• Experience leading integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
• Strong background in email marketing, content, brand strategy, social media, and campaign development.
• Experience managing employees, agencies, vendors, freelancers, or cross-functional teams.
• Strong writing, editing, messaging, and creative-direction skills.
• Ability to move comfortably between high-level strategy and hands-on execution.
• Strong analytical skills and experience using customer, sales, and campaign data to make decisions.
• Strong project-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple initiatives and drive them through execution.
• Working knowledge of paid media, SEO, AEO/AI search visibility, CRO, ecommerce, analytics, and emerging digital marketing opportunities.

Preferred

• Experience with Klaviyo, ecommerce marketing, consumer products, home design, residential construction, or a considered-purchase customer journey is a plus.
