Job Summary

Own and scale the club’s growth engine by unifying strategy across ticketing, memberships, merch, and digital subscriptions, while driving paid media and CRM programs that grow fan acquisition, engagement, and lifetime value.

  • Growth Leadership: Own the integrated growth plan across revenue lines, audience targeting, and forecasted KPIs.
  • Channel & CRM Engine: Lead paid media, lifecycle marketing, segmentation, personalization, and automation to optimize CAC, LTV, and churn.
  • Measurement & Execution: Establish attribution, dashboards, and forecasting, surfacing fan insights to inform campaigns and GTM alignment.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and own the Club’s integrated growth marketing strategy across ticket sales, memberships, merchandise, and digital subscription products.
  • Build the annual and seasonal marketing plan, including budgets, channel mix, audience strategy, and forecasted KPIs across acquisition and retention.
  • Partner with executive leadership to set revenue and audience targets, and translate them into actionable, measurable campaigns.
  • Lead paid media strategy and execution across digital, social, search, programmatic, OTT/CTV, audio, and out-of-home, optimizing for CAC, LTV, and ROAS.
  • Own agency and vendor relationships for paid media and martech, ensuring best-in-class performance and accountability.
  • Drive a continuous test-and-learn culture across audiences, creative, channels, and offers.
  • Build and scale the Club’s CRM and lifecycle marketing program, including email, SMS, push, and in-app journeys across the fan lifecycle from first touch through season ticket renewal.
  • Develop segmentation, personalization, and automation strategies that grow fan lifetime value and reduce churn.
  • Partner with the ticketing team on single-game, group, mini-plan, and full-season campaigns, and with merchandise on e-commerce growth.
  • Translate the Club’s brand into growth-driving creative and campaigns that resonate with diverse Boston audiences and the broader women’s soccer community.

Requirements

  • 6 - 8 years of progressive experience in growth, performance, or lifecycle marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role (sports or entertainment experience strongly preferred).
  • Proven track record of driving measurable revenue and audience growth across paid, owned, and earned channels.
  • Deep expertise in paid media strategy, CRM and lifecycle marketing, and digital analytics, with hands-on experience leveraging platforms such as Meta Ads, Google Ads, HubSpot, GA4, customer data platforms (CDPs), and other marketing technology tools to drive fan acquisition, engagement, retention, and revenue growth.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience building measurement frameworks, attribution models, and performance dashboards.
  • Experience managing agencies, budgets, and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate data into clear narratives for executive audiences.
