Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Formulate and execute digital marketing strategies for single and album launches across paid, owned, and earned channels.
  • Partner with label services to establish artist growth goals (audience, streaming, CRM, engagement) and ensure digital initiatives directly support those KPIs.
  • Act as the primary digital liaison between artist management, label teams, label services, and external agency partners.
  • Lead development and execution of CRM strategies (email, SMS, fan capture, lifecycle marketing) at both project and label level.
  • Oversee digital campaign budgets, ensuring efficient allocation across paid media, content, and platform activations.
  • Translate data and insights into actionable campaign optimizations and audience growth strategies.
  • Maintain strong understanding of platform ecosystems (Spotify, Apple, YouTube, TikTok, Meta, Amazon) and evolving digital trends.
  • Design and implement full-funnel digital campaigns for each release.
  • Utilize insights from shared services to inform audience targeting, media mix, and platform strategy.
  • Manage digital budgets, aligning spending with campaign goals and ROI expectations.
  • Collaborate with artist teams to build custom digital workflows, rollout plans, and content strategies.
  • Own all digital deliverables and timelines, including: DSP profile optimization, Asset creation and delivery, Paid media execution, Vendor and partner coordination.
  • Develop and deploy CRM communications (email, SMS), including segmentation strategy, copy direction, and performance tracking alongside label services teams.
  • Identify and recommend emerging platforms, tools, and partners to drive innovation and competitive advantage.
  • Monitor competitive landscape and cultural trends, applying learnings to campaign strategy.
  • Capture and create lightweight digital content (short-form video, behind-the-scenes, social-first assets) to support campaigns when needed.
  • Provide strategic guidance on content creation best practices across social and digital platforms.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as necessary.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in music or entertainment marketing with a strong digital focus
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or other relevant disciplines.
  • Proven track record executing digital campaigns across DSPs, social platforms, and CRM ecosystems
  • Strong understanding of paid media, audience development, and analytics tools
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with creative, publicity, A&R, and partner teams
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and budgets simultaneously
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to translate data into strategy
  • Creative thinker with a digital-first mindset and audience-centric approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills required.
  • 20% domestic travel required for artist activation and label requirements.
  • This job is hybrid- requiring 3 days a week minimum on site.
