Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Brand storytelling: Turn Compassiviste's philosophy, people, and actions into a clear, recognizable, and culturally relevant narrative.
  • Social strategy: Own the organic strategy across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and emerging platforms, including channel roles, cadence, and audience growth.
  • Hands-on creation: Personally write, film, photograph, edit and publish content, particularly during the organization's early stages.
  • Field storytelling: Travel to Compassiviste activations, campuses, Compassicon, and other events to capture stories as they happen.
  • Launch storytelling: Work closely with the broader team before activations occur so content is built into the experience rather than documented as an afterthought.
  • Editorial judgment: Identify which people, actions and moments have the potential to become powerful Compassiviste stories.
  • Community & culture: Engage directly with audiences, understand what resonates with younger communities and keep Compassiviste culturally current without chasing trends for their own sake.
  • Creator ecosystem: Build relationships with creators, participants, campus voices and partners who can extend the movement organically.
  • Content systems: Establish the workflows, formats, tools and production infrastructure needed to create consistently at increasing scale.
  • Measurement: Establish KPIs around audience growth, engagement, sharing, participation and ultimately the ability of content to move people from awareness into acti
