Job Description

Responsibilities

  • The Director of Marketing and Communications will lead the development and execution of marketing, branding, and communication initiatives for the NH Bankers Association.
  • Collaborate closely with the President & CEO and the NH Bankers team to fulfill NH Bankers overall growth, presence and advocacy strategy, and identify and maximize opportunities that raise the level of awareness of the organization’s ongoing work and achievements with key constituencies.
  • Responsible for implementation of all NH Bankers communications initiatives, which also includes strategic communications with external audiences such as policy makers, media, the business and non-profit communities, and the public at-large.
  • Achieve objectives through marketing, media, and strategic engagement campaigns using the full range of traditional and digital tools available.
  • Identify agencies, printers and suppliers of record, and work with the President & CEO, negotiate contract terms and conditions for major services.
  • Creation and development of print and online advertising, email marketing, web site management and content development, press releases, op eds, organization videos, and other critical functions of marketing, communications and strategic engagement.
  • Membership Engagement: Oversee the creation and distribution of member communications, including newsletters, event invitations with an email schedule to promote registration and sponsorship opportunities and updates on organizational activities.
  • Plan and execute member-focused events and activities to foster a sense of community and encourage active participation.
  • Develop and execute persuasive communication strategies that clearly demonstrate the value of membership to current and prospective members.
  • Brand Management: Enhance and maintain the organization’s brand identity, ensuring consistency across all marketing and communication materials.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in desktop publishing; strong working knowledge of Adobe platforms including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Proficiency in website management and content updates; knowledge of Wordpress a plus.
  • Strong writing and editing skills.
  • Skills in data-driven marketing and use of analytics tools to inform marketing strategies.
  • Experience working with a trade association, or financial services is preferred.
