Job Summary

Own the strategic, multi-line communications program for a fintech brand, shaping brand reputation, executive visibility, and regulatory-compliant storytelling across media, internal comms, and launches.

  • Brand & Reputation: Own cohesive messaging across three business lines aligned to OKRs and executive positioning.
  • Media & Launch Leadership: Lead reporter relationships and press strategy for product launches and proactive storytelling.
  • Operations & Compliance: Manage agencies, craft releases and talking points, and coordinate cross-functionally with Legal, Compliance, and Product.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Own overarching communications strategy across three lines of business ensuring cohesive, differentiated messaging aligned with company OKRs.
  • Lead media relations and executive visibility programs to shape brand positioning, identify opportunities, and drive product-launch coverage.
  • Manage external agencies, brief launches and proactive storylines, craft press materials, and ensure regulatory-compliant, accurate messaging across all public content.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in communications or public relations with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Deep fintech/financial services media knowledge with established journalist relationships.
  • Experience developing integrated communications strategies spanning media relations, internal comms, crisis management, executive positioning, and thought leadership.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and proven ability to train or coach executives for media engagements.
  • Experience managing external agency relationships and balancing in-house vs. outsourced resources.
  • Track record supporting C-suite communications, spokesperson programs, and media training.
  • Regulated industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Collaborative leadership with high judgment and emotional intelligence.
