Job Description

Responsibilities

  • SEO & AEO Strategy Own Bisk's SEO/AEO strategy and multi-year roadmap across Bisk and partner properties. Establish AI visibility and citation-share benchmarks and drive quarterly improvements across partner programs and degree categories. Analyze how Bisk programs are represented across ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, Copilot, Google AI Overviews, and traditional search. Lead technical SEO strategy, including crawling, indexing, site architecture, redirects, structured data/schema, Core Web Vitals, and AI crawler access. Define SEO/AEO requirements for new program launches, migrations, templates, and campaigns. Identify keyword, intent, content, and competitive opportunities based on enrollment potential—not traffic alone. Content & Program Page Performance Partner with Content and Account Management to develop organic content strategies based on search intent, funnel performance, and competitive gaps. Optimize program and landing pages to improve organic conversion and qualified lead volume. Build topical authority across key disciplines while maintaining consistent messaging, accuracy, and brand standards across partners. Agency, Vendor & Tool Stewardship Lead SEO/AEO agency and contractor relationships, including scope, deliverables, SLAs, quality, and roadmap execution. Own the SEO/AEO technology stack and annual budget, evaluating tools and investments based on cost, coverage, and enrollment impact. Serve as the internal SEO/AEO subject-matter expert and build capabilities across Marketing, Content, and Account Management. Measurement & Executive Communication Develop measurement and attribution frameworks connecting organic and AI visibility to leads, CPL, CPA, enrollments, and revenue. Provide monthly and quarterly reporting to executives and partner stakeholders, translating technical findings into clear business recommendations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years in SEO, organic growth, or digital marketing, including time as both a hands-on individual contributor and a strategy leader.
  • Demonstrated ownership of AEO/GEO/AI search work (LLM visibility auditing, citation and share-of-voice tracking, prompt testing, and structured content strategy), not theoretical familiarity.
  • Deep technical SEO expertise: site architecture, crawl and indexation management, schema and structured data, log file analysis, redirects, and Core Web Vitals.
  • Proven track record translating organic performance into business outcomes for enterprise or multi-brand organizations.
  • Hands-on execution and analysis of variable testing and continuous improvement.
  • Experience managing agencies, contractors, or vendors against defined scopes, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Advanced proficiency with Google Search Console, GTM, GA4, and enterprise SEO platforms (Semrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, or comparable).
  • Strong analytical skills, autonomous ability to pull data, and fluency in performance marketing metrics: CPL, CPA, conversion rate, LTV with the ability to diagnose funnel problems and prescribe solutions.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; able to present strategy and defend recommendations with executive leadership and external partners.
  • Experience working across cross-functional teams with and without direct authority.

Preferred

  • Experience in higher education, online learning, or OPM/EdTech, including an understanding of enrollment funnels, intake windows, and degree versus certificate program dynamics.
  • Multi-brand or multi-client experience supporting institutions with separate brand standards and governance.
  • Hands-on work in both Webflow and WordPress environments, including template and CMS-level optimization.
  • Working knowledge of HubSpot, Salesforce, or comparable CRM/marketing automation platforms, and of UTM/CRM reconciliation and first-touch attribution.
  • Familiarity with AI search visibility tooling (Profound, Brand Radar, or similar) and with applying LLMs to content briefing, auditing, and analysis.
  • Experience building a capability from the ground up, including hiring, vendor selection, and executive business-case development.
  • Advanced Excel/Sheets plus Python or R for keyword clustering, SERP scraping, and citation-share analysis at scale.
  • Agile mindset and history of prototyping concepts.
