Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with copywriting for social media and other digital marketing materials
  • Routing, organizing, and maintaining social media and digital assets
  • Coordinating consumer and influencer mailings
  • Participating in brainstorming sessions and contributing creative ideas
  • Conducting audience and consumer research
  • Updating and maintaining departmental organizational documents
  • Assisting with the evaluation and reporting of ROI for performance marketing campaigns
  • Learning strategies to maximize engagement and drive conversion across digital platforms
  • Learning and networking with ABRAMS employees, publishing professionals, and fellow interns during this internship experience for academic credit
  • Gaining hands-on exposure to the publishing industry, from concept to finished product

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a college program with a focus/major in English, Communications, Marketing, or Publishing
  • Have an interest in pursuing a career in publishing and a passion for books
  • Have an interest in social media and digital marketing
  • Proficiency in Mac OS and MS Office Suite, with strong knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat Pro
  • Working knowledge of social media platforms, including Instagram, X, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok

Preferred

  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Canva, a plus
  • Exhibit a keen eye for detail and demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills
  • Possess excellent writing and communication skills and work well in a collaborative team environment
  • Be excited and motivated to learn, grow, research, and solve problems
