Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Field Production: Capture 4K field footage, locked-off macro details, drone aerials, and high-fidelity location audio (interviews, equipment ASMR, ambient sound).
  • Post-Production & Editing: Edit weekly long-form YouTube documentary episodes and 3–5 short-form vertical videos optimized for audience retention.
  • Audience Growth & SEO: Optimize video titles, custom thumbnails, and descriptions for organic search and high click-through rates.
  • Sponsor Integrations: Seamlessly incorporate brand partners and equipment featurettes (e.g., Milwaukee Tool, Scag) into video narratives.
  • Community Engagement & Reporting: Publish content, interact with comments, track analytics, and build monthly b-roll/photo asset packs for grant and donor reports.

Requirements

  • Portfolio / Reel: Demonstrated experience in outdoor field videography, documentary production, or YouTube channel growth (must provide a portfolio link).
  • Editing Software: Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve (including basic color grading and clean audio finishing).
  • Field Comfort: Ability and willingness to shoot outdoors in Central Texas weather conditions alongside active grounds crews.
  • Driver’s License: Valid Texas Driver’s License and clean record to travel across Travis, Williamson, and Hays counties.
  • Physical Capability: Ability to carry 25–35 lbs of camera equipment around active jobsites during full shoot days.

Preferred

  • Active FAA Part 107 Commercial Drone Pilot License (or willingness to obtain it with paid assistance).
  • Proven track record growing social media channels (YouTube AVD, TikTok retention, Instagram engagement).
  • High empathy and patient interview skills when speaking with older adults and military veterans.
