Established in 2009, Simple SEO Group is a digital marketing agency with a 100% remote, multi-national workforce of approximately 30 team members. We work with clients in a variety of different fields ranging from manufacturers to pharmaceutical companies, from financial advisors to law firms, and everything in between. We are a results driven company and offer various types of digital marketing (SEO, PPC, email) campaigns as well as software and design services (coding, graphic design, software engineering).

About You & Your Role

You are energetic, hard working, hungry to learn, and ready to expand your career. We are seeking a project manager to oversee a specific marketing project in the sustainability industry as well as assist our team of account / project managers on client management tasks as needed.

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing projects from start to finish, with experience in or interest in software development and digital marketing. This individual should also have experience managing people and be an effective communicator. The ideal candidate should be able to think on their feet, be able to multi-task, be able to work under pressure, be interested in learning and growing in their career and as a person, and be seeking a long term career opportunity not just a short term job.

Responsibilities & Expectations

• Direct and oversee completion of projects and campaigns
• Directly manage ad campaigns, including Google Ads and Meta Ads
• Directly manage organic SEO campaigns on Google and Bing
• Develop plans of action including schedules, resource allocation, and project plans
• Manage work and inputs from a variety of stakeholders both internal and external
• Work directly with clients on communication, timelines, budgeting, and various projects
• Assist in handling inbound sales requests for new accounts
• Work directly with the company founder/CEO as needed on administrative tasks
• Expected to maintain minimum M-F 8-5 schedule with afterhours email availability as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
• Strong preference for 2 years digital marketing industry experience or project management experience
• Strong work ethic and ability to work both with teams as well as individually
• Ability to remain focused and work remotely without being micromanaged
• Demonstrated ability to deliver a completed project
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure/timelines
• Remote position however must be located in the Chicagoland area
