Responsibilities

• Lead digital content strategy, planning, and prioritization across public-facing websites.
• Oversee content from initial brief through development, review, approval, and publication.
• Partner with SEO/GEO lead and agency partners to improve the visibility and discoverability of VNS Health services across traditional and AI-powered search.
• Establish editorial standards and governance to ensure content is accurate, accessible, current, and aligned with brand and regulatory requirements.
• Use data, AI tools, and automation to improve content quality, efficiency, and performance.
• Manage content agencies, freelancers, vendors, project deliverables, and budgets.
• Collaborate across teams to keep multiple content priorities moving from strategy through execution

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications or related discipline required
• Minimum five years of progressive experience in content strategy, digital content development, website content management, editorial operations, or related discipline required
• Strong writing, editing, content planning, and editorial leadership skills required
• Experience with content management systems, website publishing platforms, and digital content best practices required
• Experience developing content for both consumer and business/professional (referrer) audiences required
• Experience managing agency and freelancer relationships, including scopes of work, budgets, and vendor performance required

Preferred

• Experience leveraging AI writing, content automation, or analytics tools to improve content effectiveness and operational efficiency preferred
• Experience with project management tools (e.g., Monday.com) preferred
• Experience with healthcare required; home-based care, nonprofit, or health care organizations preferred
