Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Assist in creating, scheduling, and publishing content across social platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, etc.) using Sprout Social
  • Write and adapt short-form social captions aligned to brand voice and campaign goals
  • Support basic creative production (simple graphics, visuals, formatting) using tools like Canva or Figma
  • Help maintain and organize the content calendar, ensuring posts and assets are delivered on time
  • Conduct keyword research and maintain keyword tracking lists
  • Monitor SEO, algorithm, AI, and content trends and suggest optimizations
  • Assist with writing, formatting, and publishing blog posts in Prismic
  • Support updates to Google My Business, G2, and Capterra profiles
  • Research digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices
  • Monitor and benchmark competitor activity across digital and social channels
  • Assist with analytics reporting (Google Analytics, social metrics, engagement performance)
  • Summarize insights and trends to help inform future content and campaigns

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 1–2 years of relevant experience (internships, coursework, freelance, or personal projects count)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive, positive attitude and willingness to take initiative
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment
  • Interest in staying current with digital marketing trends and platform changes
  • Strong writing, grammar, and editing skills
  • Interest in social media, digital content, and brand storytelling
  • Familiarity with (or eagerness to learn) SEO fundamentals
  • Comfort learning and using digital tools (CMS, analytics, social scheduling platforms)
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Organized, deadline-aware, and able to juggle multiple tasks
  • Curious mindset with a desire to learn, improve, and take feedback

Preferred

  • Basic graphic design skills or visual sensibility (Canva, Figma)
  • Exposure to HubSpot or other marketing automation tools
  • Coursework or experience in paid media or PPC
  • Familiarity with SEO/SEM tools such as SEMrush
