A Brief Overview

The Digital Content Specialist develops and executes high-quality, patient-centered content that supports marketing, brand, and patient acquisition goals. This role creates compelling visual assets that enhance engagement, ensure brand consistency, and improve digital performance.

This role supports the Creative Director, Social Media Manager, and Communications Manager in executing integrated campaigns and communications. Responsibilities include writing for and laying out newsletters, managing assets for Center for Healthy Living initiatives, event promotion, and the creation of digital and print-ready assets such as graphics, flyers, journal ads, and digital screen content. The specialist also designs and distributes email campaigns, captures and edits photo/video content, resizes assets for multiple channels, and provides production support.

This role serves as a steward of brand integrity, ensuring all content aligns with organizational standards while translating complex clinical information into clear, accessible content optimized for digital channels.

What You Will do

  • Create clear, engaging, patient-friendly content for service lines, providers, and campaigns.
  • Translate clinical topics into accessible content for diverse audiences.
  • Design digital and print-ready assets, including photos, videos, social graphics, flyers, email visuals, journal ads, and digital screen content.
  • Develop templates and resize/adapt assets across platforms
  • Capture and edit photo and video content.
  • Design and distribute email campaigns and newsletters.
  • Support event promotion and Center for Healthy Living initiatives.
  • Ensure all content aligns with brand, compliance, and accessibility standards.
  • Support media interviews with content and production needs.
  • Act as a brand ambassador across all channels.
  • Partner with marketing, digital, clinical, and communications teams.
  • Align content with broader campaigns and organizational priorities.
  • All other duties as assigned

Education Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Graphic Design, or Related Field Required

Experience Qualifications

  • 3-5 of professional content creation, preferably in healthcare
  • 3-5 Demonstrated experience creating digital graphics and marketing visuals

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills
  • Understanding of SEO and digital content strategy
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently
  • HubSpot (content publishing, email, landing pages)
  • Canva (required)
  • Adobe Creative Cloud (fluent in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign)
  • Monday.com (project management)
  • CMS platforms (Sanity.io, WordPress or similar)
  • Social scheduling tools
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted design and writing tools preferred
  • Content creation and storytelling
