Responsibilities

• Part Time Digital Content Writer & SEO Specialist
• Part-Time, Remote
• Location: Remote (Candidates located in Massachusetts, Connecticut, or the Hudson Valley region of New York are preferred.)
• Website Platform: WordPress
• Schedule: 9 hours per week
• This is a 9-hour-per-week position. Weekly priorities will be established with the marketing team to ensure the core deliverables can be completed within the available hours.
• We are seeking a talented Digital Content Writer & SEO Specialist to create engaging, educational mental health content for Handel Behavioral Health (HBH).
• The primary focus of this role is developing one high-quality blog article each week on mental health, behavioral health, wellness, and related topics.
• Content will be shared with our readership through email newsletters and social media, as well as published on the HBH website.
• The role also includes optimizing existing service pages to improve their usefulness, search visibility, and ability to connect prospective clients with appropriate services.

Requirements

• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Experience creating digital content, particularly blogs or website content.
• Familiarity with SEO and keyword research.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred

• Experience with WordPress is preferred.
