Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Own the analytics framework for YouTube, OTT platforms, and social media channels, ensuring we\'re measuring what matters
  • Design and maintain automated dashboards and reporting systems that deliver real-time insights to marketing, content, video production, and executive teams
  • Build scalable reporting solutions that reduce manual work while increasing the depth and accessibility of insights across the organization
  • Support marketing analytics initiatives by measuring campaign performance, audience acquisition, and engagement across digital channels
  • Conduct comprehensive performance analyses across all digital channels using tools including Emplifi, Tubular, YouTube Analytics, GA4, Mixpanel, Looker Studio, and native streaming platform analytics
  • Identify content performance patterns, audience behaviors, and growth opportunities through deep-dive investigations into viewership data, engagement metrics, and audience demographics
  • Perform competitive and industry benchmarking to contextualize our performance and identify emerging trends
  • Support marketing analytics initiatives by measuring campaign performance, audience acquisition, and engagement across digital channels
  • Provide insights on audience segmentation, targeting strategies, and messaging effectiveness to inform marketing planning and execution
  • Translate complex data findings into clear, compelling narratives and strategic recommendations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Partner with content, marketing, and product teams to test hypotheses, evaluate new content formats, and optimize distribution strategies
  • Drive data-informed decisions on content investments, including recommendations to sunset underperforming series, develop new formats, or adjust content structure and pacing

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in digital analytics, with significant focus on video content and social media platforms
  • Expert-level proficiency with YouTube Analytics and at least two years of hands-on experience with platforms like Emplifi, Tubular, GA4, Mixpanel, or similar analytics tools
  • Proven track record of building automated dashboards and reporting systems (experience with Looker Studio & Tableau)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive actionable insights from large, complex datasets
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present data findings to diverse audiences
  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Nice To Have

  • OTT platform analytics (Tubi, Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, Roku, Apple TV, etc.)
  • SQL knowledge for data manipulation and analysis
  • Background in content strategy, digital media, or entertainment
  • Understanding of video production workflows and content optimization techniques
  • Experience with A/B testing and experiment design
  • Familiarity with marketing analytics, campaign measurement, and attribution modeling
