Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with university stakeholders to understand objectives and target audiences.
  • Conduct content audits and gap analyses to identify opportunities.
  • Develop and implement a content strategy that supports UT Arlington’s goals.
  • Create content calendars to ensure consistent, timely content delivery across all digital platforms.
  • Act as a consultant to various teams, guiding the creation of high-quality, engaging content for websites, blogs, social media, email newsletters, and other digital channels.
  • Work with subject matter experts to gather accurate information and insights.
  • Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines and maintains a consistent voice and tone.
  • Optimize content for SEO and user experience.
  • Partner with the digital and design teams to ensure cohesive content across all channels.
  • Collaborate with web developers and designers to optimize content presentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related degree.
  • Seven (7) years of experience in content strategy or digital content marketing; or eleven (11) years of an equivalent combination of education and experience in a similar role.

Preferred

  • Master’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related degree.
  • Nine (9) years of experience in content strategy or digital content marketing.
