Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Executes fundraising strategies to raise $500,000 annually through sponsorships, grants, employee giving and marketing partnerships.
  • Stewards a portfolio of existing corporate sponsors to renew $400,000 annually.
  • Secures new corporate partnerships to raise a minimum of $100,000 annually.
  • Implements a strategic corporate partnership strategy which includes recruitment/prospecting/research, renewal, and stewardship cycle.
  • Meeting sponsor/partner needs, managing stewardship process for current sponsors/partners, managing the renewals and negotiations process.
  • Working closely with Development Manager, Strategic Partnerships and Development Operations Coordinator to ensure corporate sponsor benefits and needs are being met in a timely manner.
  • Drives donor-centric partnerships and sponsorships to support financial goals of events, programs, and prioritized initiatives.
  • Delivers a high level of customer service to all constituents.
  • Demonstrates integrity, collaboration, and team player culture.
  • Serves as a member of the development team attending and supporting events as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 1-3 years of fundraising, specifically securing non-profit sponsorships to support organization mission
  • Any equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the essential functions of the position
  • Established success in fundraising and securing sponsorships $50,000 and above
  • Experienced in acquiring, retaining and stewarding corporate partnerships
  • Outcome-driven with the ability to respond to changing circumstances and priorities
  • Excellent oral and written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work some nights and weekends
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Internet Browsers (Firefox, Chrome, Internet Explorer)
  • Customer relationship management (CRM) software

Preferred

  • Fundraising: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Experience in acquiring, retaining and stewarding corporate partnerships
