Job Summary

Shape the fundraising engine by aligning board priorities with donor strategy, running a full-cycle development plan, and turning data into action for major gifts and grants.

  • Ownership: Fundraising strategy, donor cultivation, and campaign/event execution across individuals, corporates, and foundations.
  • Audience & Channels: Prospective donors and volunteers, with in-person and written communications tied to calendar-driven events.
  • Analytics & Compliance: Data-driven progress tracking, grant reporting, and adherence to fundraising standards and ethics.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Lourdes Foundation Board to establish fundraising priorities and strategies.
  • Collaborate with the Administrative Team to develop and execute comprehensive fundraising plans to achieve goals and support organizational objectives.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with prospective donors, including individuals, corporations, foundations, and other funding sources.
  • Lead the planning and execution of fundraising events, campaigns, and special initiatives.
  • Develop an organization-wide calendar of events and supporting administrative timeline.
  • Identify and recommend volunteers for event leadership and committee work.
  • Manage donor stewardship activities, including acknowledgment, recognition, communications.
  • Coordinate with Carmelite Finance team for proper management of donated funds.
  • Prepare fundraising materials, including grant proposals, sponsorship packages, and donor communications.
  • Utilize data and analytics to track progress, evaluate performance, and make data-driven decisions.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising or development.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Proven history of success in soliciting and securing major gifts from individuals, corporations, and foundations.
  • Experience writing grants.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent organizational and project management abilities, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in donor database management and fundraising software.
  • Knowledge of fundraising best practices, regulations, and ethical standards.
