Job Summary

Own the narrative and execution of documentation, product launches, developer-focused social content, and customer stories, coordinating messaging across launches and ongoing content streams.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Documentation as a product - Keep them accurate and informative as our products evolve, and cut anything that doesn't earn its place. - Redefine how they look and read. - Make them as useful to coding agents as to the people using them. Launch machinery - Plan and run launches of every size, from new products to new features, moving fast without cutting corners. - Build a repeatable playbook for each launch day and beyond: the announcement, media kit, social posts, email blasts, customer communications, and follow-up content in the weeks thereafter (e.g., real metrics and customer quotes). - Help enable our sales team to speak to what's new as soon as it ships. - Track engagement and adoption metrics after a launch to keep refining the strategy over time. Social media presence - Publish a regular and engaging stream of content on X, LinkedIn, etc. - Identify the most interesting work our engineers are doing and turn it into something worth sharing. - Create high-quality and engaging short videos and graphics. - Join the conversation: engage with the developer ecosystem on our socials, building brand awareness and bringing back product feedback to our team. Technical writing and customer stories - Help our engineers convey what they’re building in written form and edit until the message lands. - Collaborate with Growth to identify and fill gaps in topics where developers and AI search can't find us yet. - Surface insights from real customer experiences and results to feed back into our messaging, content, and proof for what we’re building.

Requirements

  • Are technical. You've built software and can read a PR or design doc and explain why it matters.
  • Some of the best people for this role are developers seeking a more creative outlet or marketers who code .
  • Can deeply understand our product and roadmap well enough to demo it from memory.
  • Have shipped things that resonate with developers: docs, launches, videos, threads, posts.
  • Write engaging and convincing copy with a point of view (and like a developer speaking to developers).
  • Are “chronically” online and know what's trending on developer X and Hacker News.
  • Have a high motor. You spot problems and fix them without being asked.
  • Enjoy working in person 5 days a week in SF or NYC.

Preferred

  • You've run launches at a developer tools or infrastructure company.
  • You make videos and graphics yourself, or are eager to learn with agentic tools.
  • You've built and maintained an audience of your own.
  • Experience testing and measuring what works (from social media engagement to customer success metrics).

Benefits

  • Medical, Vision, and Dental insurance.
  • Unlimited PTO.
  • Annual offsite.
  • 12 weeks fully paid parental leave (US)
