Job Summary

Own dental office operations and patient experience end to end, balancing front desk, staff workflows, treatment-support processes, and accurate financial handling across scheduling, billing, and insurance.

  • Operations & People: lead daily office activities, supervise coordinators and clinicians, and hire/train staff to sustain a positive culture.
  • Clinical Support & Scheduling: manage treatment planning support and front-office scheduling to maximize productivity and patient flow.
  • Financial & Compliance: oversee billing, insurance processing, invoicing, collections, and strict appetite for confidentiality and compliance.

Job Description

  • Oversee daily operations to ensure office efficiency, compliance, and a high standard of patient care.
  • Supervise and support patient coordinators, dental assistants, hygienists, and treatment coordinators to maintain smooth workflows.
  • Manage scheduling, staffing, and front-office operations to optimize productivity and patient experience.
  • Support dentists and staff with treatment planning, billing, and insurance processes while ensuring accurate financial transactions.
  • Monitor office finances, including expense management, invoice submission, collections, and receivables, to maintain profitability.
  • Maintain office inventory by overseeing supplies, equipment, and facility cleanliness for an organized and professional environment.
  • Lead hiring, training, and staff development while addressing patient and employee concerns professionally to foster a positive workplace culture.
  • 2+ years of management experience within dental setting.
  • Experience working in a dental or medical office is required.
  • Experience in insurance processes and billing is a must.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills to work independently in fast paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and practice management software.
  • Strong attention to detail, compliance, and confidentiality in handling patient records and office operations.
