Responsibilities

  • Create, organize, and post content for the dental office on social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Google Business Profile, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other approved platforms.
  • Take photos and short videos of the office, staff, technology, patient experiences, office events, educational topics, and smile transformations.
  • Create simple captions, hashtags, and posts that reflect the office’s professional image.
  • Maintain a consistent posting schedule.
  • Help promote services such as general dentistry, implants, cosmetic dentistry, clear aligners, emergency dental care, and other office services.
  • Monitor social media pages and report comments, messages, or patient inquiries to the appropriate team member.
  • Take high-quality patient photographs and videos before, during, and after treatment when appropriate.
  • Obtain proper written patient consent before taking, storing, posting, or sharing any patient photos, videos, testimonials, or treatment-related content.
  • Follow all HIPAA and privacy guidelines related to patient information and images.
  • Organize and store patient photographs securely according to office protocol.

Requirements

  • Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable speaking with patients.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic knowledge of social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Google Business Profile, and YouTube.
  • Comfortable taking photos and videos using a smartphone or camera.
  • Ability to write simple, professional captions.
  • Organized and able to follow a posting schedule.
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude.
  • Ability to follow HIPAA, patient privacy, and office policies.
  • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.

Preferred

  • Previous experience in a dental or medical office.
  • Experience with Canva, CapCut, Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook posts, or basic video editing.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.
  • Experience managing Google reviews or social media pages.
  • Comfortable asking patients for reviews and testimonials in a respectful way.
  • Basic understanding of dental terminology is a plus.
