Our NYC office serves as the creative and operational hub powering our next phase of growth.

Who you are:

You take ownership of demand planning and think strategically about how forecasting decisions impact the entire business. You are data driven, detail oriented, and proactive in identifying risks or gaps in demand signals before they become problems. You collaborate seamlessly across Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance, thoughtfully balancing demand, capacity, cost, and service levels. You understand how demand flows through the supply chain, from customer behavior to production and inventory, and you ensure the right plans are in place at the right time to support the business. You serve as the single source of truth for demand and lead the Demand Review within the S&OP/IBP process. You leverage AI, LLMs and predictive analytics to improve forecast accuracy, automate insight generation, and enhance demand signal visibility.

Responsibilities:

Demand Planning & Forecast Ownership

  • Own demand planning and forecasting across multiple brands using NetSuite, Netstock, and Excel.
  • Build and maintain SKU-, brand-, channel-, and customer-level forecasts across Retail, B2B, DTC, and Amazon.
  • Incorporate key demand drivers including historical performance, seasonality, promotions, and launches.
  • Maintain forecast versions, assumptions, and scenarios to support decision-making.
  • Deploy AI-driven forecasting models and demand sensing tools to enhance baseline accuracy and dynamically adjust projections based on real-time inputs.
  • Automate forecast reconciliation, bias detection, and exception reporting using LLM-enabled workflows.

Channel & Launch Planning

  • Lead channel-specific demand planning with clear assumptions and timing.
  • Own forecasting for new retail partners, B2B customers, DTC initiatives, and Amazon programs.
  • Develop volume phasing, ramp curves, and launch timing by channel.
  • Identify and mitigate inventory, capacity, and execution risks.
  • Track post-launch performance and adjust forecasts based on actuals.
  • Leverage predictive modeling and machine learning clustering to improve new item forecasting and promotional lift assumptions.

S&OP / IBP Leadership

  • Lead the monthly Demand Review within the S&OP/IBP cycle, owning the demand narrative and forecast alignment across the brand.
  • Prepare and present demand reviews to senior leadership.
  • Align Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance on assumptions and outcomes.
  • Translate commercial strategy into actionable demand plans.
  • Surface risks, gaps, and upside opportunities to drive decisions.
  • Provide the approved demand plan to Supply Chain to inform supply planning and operational feasibility discussions.
  • Design AI-enhanced dashboards that reconcile forecast vs. actuals and proactively surface forward-looking risk signals.

KPI & Performance Management

  • Define and own demand planning KPIs, including MAPE and forecast bias.
  • Conduct root-cause analysis on forecast variances.
  • Drive continuous improvement in forecast accuracy and planning processes.
  • Apply machine learning techniques to identify systemic error drivers and continuously refine forecasting logic.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Produce weekly and monthly brand performance reports.
  • Build and enhance dashboards and reporting tools in Excel.
  • Deliver clear, decision-ready insights for leadership.
  • Implement LLM-enabled workflows to automate recurring reporting and generate executive-ready commentary.

Systems & Data Ownership

  • Serve as functional owner and power user of NetSuite and Netstock
  • Ensure data integrity, master data accuracy, and system alignment
  • Improve forecasting logic, inputs, and workflows
  • Continuously evaluate and integrate emerging AI forecasting tools and automation into demand planning systems.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Act as the neutral demand authority across functions.
  • Challenge assumptions and manage trade-offs between demand and supply.
  • Influence stakeholders through data and clear communication.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Proven experience in demand planning, forecasting, or S&OP roles
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel capability
  • Hands-on experience with NetSuite and/or Netstock preferred
  • Experience managing multi-brand and/or high-SKU environments, including rapid portfolio expansion
  • Experience operating in a startup or high-growth environment, with the ability to build processes, structure, and discipline from the ground up
  • Demonstrated ability to support scaling businesses, adapting demand planning processes as brands, volumes, and complexity grow
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across commercial, supply chain, and finance teams
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-paced, evolving organization
