Job Summary

Own SKU level forecasts and demand planning, tying forecast outputs to supply chain signals and P&L outcomes.

  • Lead demand consensus with Sales and Marketing and finalize the forecast.
  • Bring cross-functional visibility to forecast variance and short-term pacing risks.
  • Own budgeting inputs and statistical models for the annual plan.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a rolling SKU-level unit forecast and manage the overall forecasting process.
  • Create and maintain statistical forecasts at the SKU and predetermined aggregate levels by analyzing multiple model outputs to determine fit and needed adjustments.
  • Lead monthly demand consensus and forecast review meetings with Sales and Marketing; contribute to the consensus forecast and finalize demand output.
  • Support the strategic business unit’s financial performance by identifying potential supply chain issues and reporting on short-term volume pacing concerns.
  • Lead the Sales and Marketing portion of the annual budgeting process, including development of statistical and baseline models.
  • Communicate variances between forecasts, plans, and actual results to Sales and Marketing.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to analyze P&L performance and identify key levers for increasing profitability.
  • Analyze historical consumption data by category to identify patterns, trends, and business recommendations.
  • Conduct ad hoc quantitative and market analyses and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Advanced Analytical Methods, Economics, Statistics, or a related field required.
  • 3+ years of CPG-related business analytics experience required.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Advanced Excel and statistical modeling skills required.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of programming languages preferred.
  • Experience with Nielsen, panel data, and trend analysis preferred.
  • Finance experience preferred.
