We started a private investment partnership following the model of a hedge fund and the best governance practices. Since 2008 we have launched three investment funds:1.Private Equity NCF Investment Fund •Sectors: microfinance, agribusiness•Rationale: There are only a few private equity investment managers in Peru, all focused on acquiring majority stakes of major firms. We found several opportunities in small/medium business to acquire minority stakes near book value and later increase our investment following the growth of the companies.•Our experience: we are able to locate interesting companies with good track record and growth potential, and contribute to fulfill this potential with good corporate governance practices and supporting financial activities in the company.2.Junior Mining NCF Investment Fund •Sector: junior mining companies with projects in Peru and listed on TSX, AIM or Lima Stock Exchange•Rationale: Peru has enormous potential in mining with projects in copper, zinc, lead, gold, silver and minor metals. Cash costs are very competitive. We are building a well diversified portfolio with companies in different stages of exploration at different locations and prospecting different metals.•Our experience: we are able to visit all projects and follow all social and environmental activities in order to reduce this risks. We also know the differences between the different locations throughout our country to identify the opportunities3.Seed Capital NCF Investment Fund •Rationale: There are no seed capital funds in Peru, besides the sound credential of our country here. There are a large number of business plans and entrepreneurs that requires capital to develop their ideas.•Our experience: we sign an agreement with a prestigious local business management institute (IPAE) to provide support to the entrepreneurs, and our team has broad experience in this sector and in microfinance.
