  • Act as a creative authority on how brands should show up in creator spaces—what to say, how to say it, and who should say it.
  • Interpret client needs, brand objectives, and strategic briefs into clear creative direction and opportunity spaces.
  • Partner closely with Strategy to translate insight into creative ideas that creators can authentically execute.
  • Apply a deep understanding of culture, trends, and the creator economy to shape ideas that feel timely—not trend-chasing.
  • Write best-in-class creator briefs that are inspiring, clear, and execution-ready.
  • Define formats, narratives, tones, and storytelling approaches that are native to creators and platforms.
  • Balance brand guardrails with creative freedom to protect authenticity while delivering on client goals.
  • Report directly to the Executive Director of Voices on creative standards, POV, and quality.

Requirements

  • 8–10+ years of experience as a Creative Director, ACD, or senior creative working in social, digital, or creator-led environments.
  • Deep understanding of the creator economy and how creators drive culture, not just content.
  • A sharp writer with the ability to articulate creative direction clearly and compellingly.
  • Highly taste-driven with strong cultural instincts—you know what works, why it works, and what’s next.
  • Confident in your POV, collaborative in practice, and comfortable advising clients and senior stakeholders.
  • Energized by ambiguity and excited to shape how creator-led work is done at the highest level.
  • Experience working directly with creators, talent, or influencer networks.
  • Background in entertainment, sports, fashion, or culture-forward brands.
  • Experience operating within a studio, agency, or multi-label creative environment.

We hold one core belief more deeply than any other. It’s the hill we will likely die on, the “Rosebud” whisper we’ll take to our grave. Here it is: Storytelling is the currency of human connection. Whether over coffee, around a campfire or depicted on a screen, stories captivate us, and can move us to change behavior or think differently. For brands, that means the only marketing messages that live more than a split second in the minds of consumers, are those shaped into emotionally-immersive stories. We are a band of story-crafting messengers, and we love what we do.
