Formerly Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center, we have evolved into ImpactLife. New name. Same mission. We're an independent, non-profit, community blood center, providing blood products to more than 120 hospitals. Together we change the world. We’re a 501(c)3 nonprofit, independent, community blood center, founded in 1974 in Davenport, Iowa. In addition to its headquarters, the Blood Center has regional distribution hubs in central Illinois (Peoria, Illinois and Springfield, Illinois), eastern Illinois (Urbana, Illinois); southeastern Iowa (Ottumwa, Iowa), the St. Louis region (Earth City, Missouri) and southern Wisconsin (Madison, Wisconsin). ImpactLife collects blood at 19 fixed site donor centers and at more than 5,000 mobile blood drives held each year.
