Job Summary

Own end-to-end bid and proposal production with cross-functional coordination, ensuring readable, compliant content and persuasive materials for RFQs/RFPs.

  • Own the proposal production workflow from RFQ/RFP intake to award, coordinating with BD, proposals teams, and partners.
  • Curate and edit marketing collateral and technical content for readability, accuracy, and branding across sheets, case studies, white papers, and decks.
  • Assess workload, assign work plan slots, and improve prequalifications, qualifications, and client presentations with competitive edge.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Leads small to medium pursuits from the RFQ phase through RFP, interview and award. Coordinates with proposals, team members and partner firms to prepare qualifications including formatting, layout, technical writing and proofreading. Writes and curates various marketing content including project sheets, case studies, resumes, white papers and editorial pieces.
  • Reviews the project and employee data within the CED and makes recommendations for deletions and additions. Manages electronic proposal files, including network database and SharePoint files and ensures file closeout procedures are followed.
  • Responds companywide to requests for prequals, qualifications, etc. Assesses time required to complete work and recommend placement of work into work plan.
  • Facilitates client presentation preparation include slide deck development. Works with business development and operations management to determine what should be included in the slide decks.
  • Research competitors, markets and sectors by identifying and evaluating characteristics, market share, etc.
  • Reads and analyze RFQ/RFPs and edits proposal content for readability, consistency, clarity and compliance with requirements.
  • Interfaces with technical professionals in the writing, editing, and publication of various types of documents. Ensures proposal input is accurate, compelling and timely.
  • Designs and updates marketing collateral and ensures commitment to branding and marketing strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Journalism, English or related degree or relevant experience.
  • 3-5 years of marketing experience, preferably in the AEC industry.
  • Mandatory proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills (written and oral).
  • A good eye for visualization, layout, and/or graphic design skills to facilitate appealing and effective communication.
  • Strong writing and editing skills (including grammar and punctuation).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and excellent proofreading abilities.
  • Ability to multi-task, be proactive, work independently or in a team setting and establish priorities.
  • Efficiently work under pressure in a dynamic deadline-driven environment.
