Role: Communications Specialist

Location: Remote (US – PST time zone preferred)

Contract Duration: 12 months (possible extension up to 18 months)

Role Overview

Hiring a Communications Specialist to support its US Corporate Communications team.

This role focuses on developing stories, media engagement, and executive communications to strengthen global brand narrative.

You will work with:

• Corporate communications leadership
• Media outlets and journalists
• Agency partners
• Internal leadership and executives

The role reports to the Director of Corporate Communications.

Key Responsibilities

Content & Messaging

• Create high-quality written communications such as:
• Blogs
• Messaging frameworks
• Executive speeches
• Editorials
• Q&As
• Infographics
• Build and maintain corporate narrative and purpose-driven storytelling.

Media Relations

• Build media lists and pitch stories to journalists.
• Prepare media briefing documents.
• Schedule and coordinate interviews with executives.

Campaign & Project Support

• Assist with major communications campaigns and launches.
• Manage timelines and ensure smooth project delivery.
• Track performance and measure media impact.

Executive Communications

• Support executives with:
• Speaking engagements
• Event submissions
• Presentations
• Social media posts
• Keynotes and fireside chats

Coverage Tracking

• Monitor and measure media coverage across Corporate and Product Communications teams.

Required Experience

Minimum Experience

• 3+ years of communications or PR experience
• Experience with consumer or enterprise technology brands
• Agency experience preferred

Key Skills

Technical / Tools

Preferred experience with:

• Slack
• Confluence

• Strong writing and storytelling ability
• Media pitching and journalist engagement

Preferred Candidate Profile

Ideal candidates may currently be working as:

• Account Executive (PR)
• Account Manager
• PR Manager

Preferably from PR agencies, especially those supporting B2B technology clients.

Must-Have Qualifications (Ranked)

1. PR agency experience (B2B preferred)
