Own the content strategy and end-to-end storytelling for Modern Workplace, translating technical concepts into clear narratives and guiding multi-format, cross-channel content from research through demand-building assets.

  • Collaborate across video, podcasts, infographics, and social assets to deliver cohesive storytelling.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop content strategies aligned to Modern Workplace business goals, go-to-market motions, industry trends, and audience needs, translating complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives
  • Own full-funnel written content across formats (blogs, eBooks, whitepapers, webinars, email campaigns, and landing pages), ensuring clear objectives, defined target personas, and messaging aligned to awareness, consideration, and decision stages
  • Collaborate on non-written content formats such as video, podcasts, infographics, and social media assets to ensure cohesive storytelling across channels
  • Create product-adjacent and partner-facing content, including solution briefs, one-pagers, and FAQs, while partnering with creative teams on web copy
  • Develop innovative approaches to building awareness and demand in a modern, hybrid-work landscape, including buyer-led topic clusters and modular, reusable content strategies
  • Utilize AI tools effectively to support research and drafting, while applying strong editorial judgment to ensure accuracy, quality, and alignment with brand voice and guidelines
  • Support content publishing in SHI’s Resource Hub using WordPress, ensuring proper tagging, organization, and discoverability
  • Monitor Modern Workplace industry trends and connect insights to SHI’s services and solutions in a differentiated and relevant way
  • Partner with editorial leadership and external agencies to develop primary and secondary research that supports industry-leading thought leadership
  • Integrate cross-solution messaging and align content to broader company narratives where appropriate

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 7+ years of experience in content marketing, editorial, or B2B/technical writing
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Asana, WordPress, SEMrush
  • The ability to effectively utilize applications like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook - Intermediate
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including marketing, creative, and subject matter experts
  • Proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Asana, WordPress, and SEMrush
  • Ability to travel to SHI, partner, and customer events as needed

Preferred

  • Experience in Modern Workplace technologies, including collaboration platforms, digital employee experience, or productivity solutions
  • Familiarity with product marketing concepts such as positioning, personas, and value propositions
  • Experience creating sales enablement or go-to-market aligned content
