Drive nonprofit storytelling by gathering stories, drafting narratives, and managing a multimedia content library for rapid impact reporting.

Own end-to-end storytelling from interviews to published narratives
Must-have: 3–5 years in storytelling/communications with interview and writing experience
Standout: Strong multi-media content organization and production for newsletters, social, and reports

Gather stories directly from programs, events, staff, ambassadors, influencers, and community members
Conduct interviews to document experiences, outcomes, and impact
Coordinate with WAW Ambassadors to identify and develop storytelling opportunities
Identify meaningful moments that illustrate program impact and community experiences
Maintain regular communication with Chief Growth Officer to to identify new story opportunities
Ensure stories are gathered consistently throughout the year to support campaigns and reporting needs
Procure high-quality photographs that document programs, events, and community engagement
Record short-form video content that highlights impact and real-life experiences
Document authentic moments that can be used across digital and print communications
Edit and format images and video clips for sharing across platforms

3–5 years of experience in storytelling, communications, journalism, or content development
Demonstrated experience conducting interviews and gathering stories
Strong writing skills, particularly in narrative and feature-style writing
Experience with photography and basic photo editing
Experience capturing and editing short-form video content
Ability to translate interviews into clear, engaging written stories
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Comfort working independently and communicating with diverse stakeholders
Access to personal photography and recording equipment
