Responsibilities

• Create and schedule 3-5 social media posts per week .
• Write blog post drafts (biweekly) on topics like AI education, and community spotlights
• Build and send the Austin AI Hub newsletter (frequency TBD, likely biweekly or monthly)
• Create post-event content: photo recaps, quote cards, highlight threads from workshops and networking events
• Track content performance and share insights on what is working
• Collaborate with the Design Intern on visual assets for posts and campaigns

Requirements

• Commitment: 10-15 hours/week
• Duration: 4 months (May - August 2026)
• Strong writing skills: you can write clearly and adapt tone for different platforms
• Familiarity with social media platforms (especially X/Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube)
• Self-starter who can manage a content calendar and meet deadlines independently
• Interest in AI, technology, or nonprofit work (you do not need to be technical)

Preferred

• experience with newsletter tools (Brevo, Mailchimp)
• Canva
• basic analytics
