Job Description

Responsibilities

Create and schedule 3-5 social media posts per week across X (Twitter), LinkedIn, YouTube and Instagram
Write blog post drafts (biweekly) on topics like AI education, event recaps, and community spotlights
Build and send the Austin AI Hub newsletter (frequency TBD, likely biweekly or monthly)
Create post-event content: photo recaps, quote cards, highlight threads from workshops and networking events
Monitor and engage with the community on Slack, social media comments, and Reddit
Track content performance and share insights on what is working
Collaborate with the Design Intern on visual assets for posts and campaigns

Requirements

Strong writing skills: you can write clearly and adapt tone for different platforms
Familiarity with social media platforms (especially X/Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube)
Self-starter who can manage a content calendar and meet deadlines independently
Interest in AI, technology, or nonprofit work (you do not need to be technical)
Must be able to commit to a consistent posting schedule throughout the internship

Preferred

Bonus: experience with newsletter tools (Brevo, Mailchimp), Canva, or basic analytics
