Own the end-to-end social content program for The Pavement Directory, shaping multi-platform publishing, repurposing articles into posts and videos, and coordinating website content and contractor features.

Responsibilities

  • Social Media Content Create and publish content for platforms such as: LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, TikTok, when appropriate
  • Content may include: Pavement maintenance tips, Asphalt and concrete educational posts, Before-and-after project examples, Contractor spotlights, New contractor listings, Pavement failure explanations, Parking lot maintenance advice, ADA and accessibility information, Cost and budgeting information, Property manager tips, Industry statistics, Website tools and calculators, New articles and guides, Seasonal pavement maintenance reminders
  • Repurpose Website Content Turn existing Pavement Directory resources into multiple pieces of content.
  • For example, one website article might become: A LinkedIn post, An Instagram carousel, A short educational video, Several individual graphics, A Facebook post, A short-form video script, A contractor-focused post
  • The objective is to get substantially more value from every article and resource we publish.
  • Short-Form Video Content Help develop simple educational videos for social media.
  • Graphic and Visual Content Create simple, professional visuals such as: Educational graphics, Checklists, Infographics, Contractor spotlight graphics, Article promotion graphics, Before-and-after layouts, Pavement diagrams, Social media carousels
  • Website Content Support Assist with website content as needed, including: Formatting articles, Adding images, Writing image captions and alt text, Updating contractor profiles, Writing or improving company descriptions, Creating FAQs, Researching pavement topics, Updating older articles, Finding relevant internal links between website pages
  • Contractor Features Help make The Pavement Directory more useful and interesting by highlighting contractors listed on the platform.
  • Content Research Research pavement-related topics and common questions asked by: Property managers, Commercial property owners, HOA boards, Facility managers, Homeowners, Asphalt contractors, Concrete contractors, Striping contractors

Requirements

  • Good written English
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to research unfamiliar subjects
  • Comfortable using AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude
  • Basic graphic design ability
  • Experience with Canva or similar tools
  • Understanding of major social media platforms
  • Ability to work independently from detailed instructions
  • Good judgment about what looks professional online
  • Ability to organize and manage a content calendar
