Job Description
Responsibilities
- Build and manage monthly editorial calendars (organic social + blog + email)
- Lead organic social strategy (pillars, themes, content mix, CTAs)
- Write strong, on-brand social copy (hooks, captions, post variations; light scripts as needed)
- Partner with designers: provide clear direction + copy on time
- Schedule organic content using approved tools/workflows
- Write/edit blog posts and publish in WordPress
- Optimize with Yoast SEO (meta titles/descriptions + basic on-page best practices)
- Write email marketing that drives engagement and action
Requirements
- 8+ years in content marketing, including organic social strategy + creation
- Excellent writing/editing; can match brand voice quickly
- Experience creating and executing editorial calendars across channels
- Hands-on experience with WordPress + Yoast
- Email marketing experience (newsletters/campaigns that drive engagement)
- Strong analytical skills: can translate metrics into clear recommendations
- Organized, proactive, deadline-driven collaborator
Preferred
- Agency experience and comfort managing multiple clients
- Experience with nonprofits/purpose-driven brands
- Familiarity with GA4, Looker Studio, HubSpot, Loomly, Sprout, etc.
- Website content strategy / web copywriting experience
