Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Own the successful development and execution of content deliverables that support various marketing and business goals
  • Create content that drives measurable outcomes, including traffic growth, engagement, and campaign performance
  • Develop content that effectively communicates Givelify's value proposition to customers and consistently reflects our brand voice and tone
  • Optimize content for search and AI discovery, improving visibility, domain authority, and performance over time
  • Apply Givelify's core content frameworks to create clear, consistent, and high-impact content across channels
  • Support campaigns and content strategies by executing high-impact, on-time content
  • Report on and evaluate content performance using defined KPIs and basic analytics
  • Write, edit, refresh, and optimize content across formats including blogs, emails, presentations, and campaign assets
  • Conduct keyword research, SEO audits, and content updates to address gaps and opportunities
  • Apply a customer-first mindset to content creation, ensuring messaging reflects the real needs, motivations, and challenges of Givelify's giving community

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, English, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in content marketing, content strategy, or a related role
  • Strong writing and editing background across persuasive, technical, and other content types
  • Working knowledge of SEO best practices and familiarity with tools like SEMrush or Moz
  • Experience using analytics tools like GA4 and Google Search Console to evaluate content performance
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms like WordPress and/or Webflow, and marketing collaboration tools like Jira, Confluence, and Slack
  • Understanding of basic marketing principles and content strategy fundamentals
  • Experience working cross-functionally and incorporating stakeholder feedback
