Job Summary

Own Quest creatively and lead the Quest operation and student team, while shaping daily content, calendar management, and weekly recaps to drive campus engagement.

  • Own the end-to-end Quest process from ideation to publication
  • Direct and optimize a weekly content and submission workflow
  • Ensure timely execution and high-quality copy that resonates with students

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Own Quest creatively. You'll collaborate with the CEO to come up with the quests. That means generating ideas, researching what's happening on campus and in Orlando that a quest could ride on, and writing the titles, descriptions, and rules that make a quest land. A boring quest with great copy beats a bold quest with bland copy—the work is in the framing, and this is something you own.
  • Run the Quest operation. Scheduling quests, building them in our CMS, populating the places and venues each quest points to, and keeping the calendar full and on time.
  • Lead our student Quest Creator team. Before a quest goes live, our student team completes it first so there's something to look at. You'll recruit those students, scope what each of them needs to capture, set clear expectations, review what comes back, and ask for a retake when it isn't up to standard. This is the part of the job that's genuinely about leadership, not coordination—you&aposre directing people you don't manage, and holding a quality bar without being a jerk about it.
  • Moderate submissions. Reviewing what students submit, approving points, writing clear and kind explanations when something gets denied, and handling the rare user who needs a warning.
  • Push quests out. Writing push notifications, emails, and reminders, and coordinating with our social team so a quest gets the attention it deserves.
  • Pull the best moments back out. Every week you'll gather the standout submissions into a recap our social team can run with—the quest moment of the week, the carousel of the funniest captures.
  • Keep the rest of the content machine running. Designing and scheduling our creative each week (pushes, emails, polls, mobile pop-ups), planning the content calendar, updating deal content from partner requests, managing our in-app feed, refreshing photo content each semester, and keeping our CMS clean

Requirements

  • You can write. Short, funny, confident copy that sounds like a person and not a brand. You know the difference between clever and try-hard.
  • You are relentlessly organized. This role has a lot of moving pieces on a weekly rhythm—quests going live, submissions queuing up, creative shipping on schedule. If things slip, students notice immediately. You're the kind of person whose to-do list stays organized and keeps moving even during a busy week.
  • Beyond that, you'll do well here if:
  • - You're close enough to college or have a strong memory in that you still remember what a Tuesday night actually looks like
  • - You know what makes students stop scrolling, because you&aposre online the same way they are
  • - You&aposre comfortable being told your copy isn't there yet, and you get better fast
  • - You can set expectations with someone and follow up when they miss them, without it being awkward
  • - You like operational work—the satisfaction of a clean calendar and a queue at zero is real to you
  • - You&aposre resourceful, and your first instinct when something's unclear is to figure it out and then ask
  • - You want to be somewhere your ideas ship in days, not quarters

Preferred

  • experience with a CMS, email or push platforms, social content production, or community moderation. We'll train you on our systems—they're already built, documented, and running. Bonus points if you can help us make them better.

Benefits

  • - $55,000–$65,000 annual salary, based on experience
  • - 75% of healthcare costs covered, with dental and vision options
  • - Unlimited PTO (with some limitations during our back-to-school seasons, Jan–Feb and Aug–Oct)
  • - Company-wide holiday break (everyone's off from Dec 24 to Jan 1)
  • - Remote-first, with team field trips a few times a year
  • - Bi-annual "Dream Dives" with our CEO, to make sure your career here is actually taking you where you want to go
