Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Content Strategy & Execution: - Develop, procure, and launch innovative and seasonally relevant photo product templates and designs across assigned categories. - Define and continuously refine a holistic content strategy aligned withClient Photo/Customer Printing goals and KPIs. - Manage an end-to-end content calendar to ensure timely product launches and refreshes. Cross-Functional Collaboration: - Partner with catalog operations, software/IT, product management, merchandising, and marketing teams to align content initiatives with broader business objectives. - Facilitate communication and workflow between internal teams and external design agencies. Design & Product Content Management: - Oversee the full lifecycle of design projects, including creative briefs, lookbook management, design selection, delivery, and enrichment. - Manage relationships with designers and agencies from contract negotiation through design launches. - Ensure product imagery, descriptions, category graphics, and purchase flows are optimized for customer experience across allClient Photo platforms. Data-Driven Optimization: - Analyze sales data, customer trends, and content performance metrics to identify opportunities for growth and improvement. - Make informed recommendations on design carry-overs, deletions, and new product introductions to enhance the shopping experience. - Monitor and optimize the omnichannel experience by managing design assets across platforms. Budget & Resource Management: - Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure cost-effective use of resources. - Maintain accurate budget trackers with estimates and actuals. Systems & Tools: - Utilize client Product Information Management (PIM) and Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems for content job/task creation, delivery, enrichment, and workflow management. - Guide agencies and internal teams through system processes to ensure smooth content delivery. Quality Assurance & Compliance: - Review products and designs pre- and post-launch to ensure alignment with brand standards and customer expectations. - Ensure all content complies withClient’s policies and legal requirements. Reporting & Communication: - Prepare strategic presentations and analytical reports for leadership and stakeholders. - Participate in regular team meetings to maintain alignment on campaigns, launches, and strategic priorities. Additional Duties: - Develop a deep understanding of theClient Photo/Customprinting shopper - Stay up to date on design and industry trends - Attend up to two industry tradeshows or events annually to stay current on market trends and network with partners. - Take on additional projects and responsibilities as needed to support theClient Photo/Custom Printing business; assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Design, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing, content management, or product merchandising.
  • Proven experience developing and executing annual content or marketing strategies.
  • Experience working with or for retail e-commerce businesses;Client and/or photo product category experience is a strong plus.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize, delegate, and manage multiple fast-paced projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (Smartsheet preferred).
  • Experience overseeing the deliverables of creative teams or external agencies.
  • Solid understanding of graphic/image file formats, specifications, and digital asset workflows.
  • Comfortable interacting with demanding clients and stakeholders.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; willingness to improve is acceptable.

Preferred

  • Experience with photo or personalized products in e-commerce or retail environments.
  • Knowledge of Digital Asset Management (DAM) and Product Information Management (PIM) systems (Bynder and/or Akeneo preferred)
  • Experience managing multiple projects for diverse internal and external customers.
  • Basic understanding of software user interfaces and workflows.
  • Familiarity with Jira Kanban or similar agile project management platforms.
