Job Description
Responsibilities
- Visit Home Method Co. projects throughout the Sacramento area to capture photo and video content.
- Take high-quality before, during, and after photos of organizing projects.
- Capture vertical video for Instagram Reels, Stories, and other social platforms.
- Film satisfying organizing moments, transformations, product details, team interactions, and behind-the-scenes content.
- Occasionally film Kim and team members speaking on camera.
- Follow shot lists and creative direction from our marketing team.
- Upload, label, and organize content after each project so our marketing team can easily access it.
- Spot interesting, creative, or unexpected moments worth capturing while on-site.
- Assist with simple short-form video editing and trend-inspired content when needed.
Requirements
- Is comfortable capturing high-quality photos and videos using an iPhone or smartphone.
- Understands what makes an engaging Instagram Reel, Story, or social media post.
- Has a natural eye for lighting, composition, details, and visually satisfying transformations.
- Keeps up with social media trends and enjoys bringing creative ideas to the table.
- Is organized, dependable, and able to manage content files efficiently.
- Feels comfortable working with our team and inside clients' homes.
- Can follow creative direction while also taking initiative.
- Respects client privacy and maintains professionalism on every project.
- Has reliable transportation to project locations throughout the Sacramento area.
Preferred
- Experience with CapCut, Instagram Edits, Canva, photography, videography, or Adobe tools is a plus, but not required.
