Responsibilities

• You’ll “own” several of our organic content channels, most notably our short form video content
• Create and edit content for GoRout’s social media channels, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other emerging platforms.
• Edit short-form and long-form video content for social media, digital campaigns, customer testimonials, product highlights, event recaps, and branded storytelling.
• Assist with creating social graphics, promotional assets, thumbnails, quote cards, product visuals, and other branded creative materials.
• Ensure all visual content aligns with GoRout brand standards, voice, and creative direction.
• Stay current on social media trends, platform best practices, editing styles, and content formats that can help grow engagement and reach.
• Assist in managing creative tasks, timelines, and deliverables to ensure content is produced efficiently and published on schedule.
• Regularly analyze campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Actively participate in video calls, demonstrating excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex ideas effectively.
• Contribute to project management initiatives, ensuring timely execution and successful implementation of marketing strategies.

Requirements

• Proven experience creating engaging content for social media, preferably for a brand, sports organization, media company, or creative agency.
• Strong understanding of major social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok-style content formats.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Photoshop.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Lightroom and general photo editing workflows.
• Experience creating graphics, editing video, and producing content optimized for social performance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment.
• Passion for sports and strong familiarity with American football, baseball, and softball.

Preferred

• Experience with Adobe After Effects or motion graphics is a plus.
• Familiarity with social scheduling and management platforms.
• Understanding of platform-specific creative strategy and audience behavior.
• Experience capturing or editing testimonial, product, or event-based content.
• Ability to take a concept from rough idea to polished final deliverable with minimal oversight.
• Eye for visual storytelling, pacing, formatting, and content that performs well across platforms.
