Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business leaders and internal stakeholders to align on product marketing direction based on business objectives, market conditions, research, insights, and in-market performance.
  • Help define high-level marketing initiatives, priorities, desired outcomes, and recommended investments that support product and business plans.
  • Develop product marketing plans and messaging strategies that strengthen awareness, consideration, and adoption of E&S Wholesale solutions with key wholesale partner audiences.
  • Translate product, appetite, market, and customer insights into audience-focused messaging and thought leadership that showcase our expertise.
  • Develop project briefs and collaborate with creative, content, media, digital, delivery, and channel partners to bring strategies to life.
  • Support the creation and execution of integrated marketing across channels such as email, web, paid media, social, public relations, and print.
  • Partner with Marketing Operations and other stakeholders to identify capability, process, or technology needs that improve marketing effectiveness and distribution partner experience.
  • Monitor performance metrics and use results to optimize current work and inform future strategy, planning, and investment decisions.
  • Build strong relationships across marketing, product, underwriting, distribution, and other business partners to ensure alignment and effective execution.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the E&S marketplace, product priorities, competitive dynamics, and partner needs.

Requirements

  • Education : Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration or related field preferred. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • License/Certification/Designation : Technical financial services designations such as FINRA, CPCU, CLU, ChFC, FLMI considered a plus. Additional licensing may be required to hold this position; and associates will need to acquire the required Federal and/or state licenses/registrations within the time period designated by the business unit. Additional licenses/registrations may be required when new products and services are implemented. If an associate fails or is is unable to acquire required licenses/registrations within the time period designated by the business unit, the associate will be ineligible to continue in the position.
  • Experience : Typically eight or more years related professional experience in marketing, strategy, consulting, financial services, or related field.
  • Knowledge, Abilities and Skills : In-depth knowledge of marketing methodologies, insurance and/or financial services products, distribution systems, and customers. Knowledge of project leadership concepts and methodologies. Possesses strong verbal and written skills needed to develop and review research studies, communicate research findings, market recommendations based on findings, and maintain relationships. Ability to lead and prioritize projects. Ability to function independently or in a team environment with limited supervision. Demonstrates core marketing proficiencies, including strategy development, utilization of insights and analytics, building brand equity and developing effective marketing communications. Skilled at customer focus, operating capabilities, personal effectiveness, and strategic capabilities.
  • Other criteria, including leadership skills, competencies and experiences may take precedence.

Preferred

  • Master’s degree is a plus.
