Drive in-person outreach to educate and gather support for a public policy issue in community locations.

  • Own frontline outreach in high-traffic locations and guide people through the process.
  • Strong communication and customer-service skills are key to answering questions and guiding support.
  • Work with a small team and use feedback to improve approaches.

Responsibilities

  • Approach people in a friendly, professional way
  • Briefly explain the issue and answer questions
  • Ask for support and guide interested people through the process
  • Work as part of a small team in safe, public locations
  • Track results and improve your approach with feedback

Preferred

  • Sales experience is helpful but not required.
  • People with backgrounds in customer service, hospitality, fitness, events, education, or advocacy tend to do very well.
