  • Identify conquesting opportunities and align with editorial calendars

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Own day-to-day community management and engagement strategy across TikTok, Instagram, X, and Threads, prioritizing TikTok and Instagram, with Threads, X, and organic-only Facebook as secondary channels
  • Write sharp, on-brand copy for captions, community posts, replies, and real-time engagement moments that capture each client’s distinct voice
  • Proactively identify and execute conquesting opportunities — engaging in trending conversations, culture-defining posts, and other high-visibility spaces beyond owned channels to expand reach and grow fandom
  • Monitor conversations in real time and respond to fan comments, DMs, and mentions with speed, personality, and brand-appropriate tone
  • Stay immersed in social trends, internet culture, memes, and emerging platform features to spot timely engagement opportunities before they peak
  • Build and maintain organized engagement trackers, community guidelines, and response protocols to keep every account running smoothly and consistently
  • Compile basic performance reporting — engagement rates, community growth, and top-performing moments — to inform ongoing engagement strategy
  • Partner closely with Social Media Managers and Strategy Coordinators to align community engagement with broader content and campaign calendars
  • Flag emerging fan sentiment, potential issues, and standout community moments to the broader team
  • Support editorial calendar execution and ensure timely, detail-oriented publishing and engagement across all platforms

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in community management, social media, or copywriting (agency and CPG brand experience a plus); we’re looking for someone at a senior, analyst level, given the autonomy and visibility this role requires
  • Exceptional copywriting skills, with a knack for adapting tone and voice across multiple brands
  • Deep, current knowledge of social platforms, internet culture, and emerging trends — you’re the person in the room who saw it first
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills; comfortable juggling multiple client accounts and a high volume of daily engagement
  • Meticulous attention to detail, especially under fast-moving, real-time conditions
  • Working knowledge of social media management and analytics tools (Sprout, Sprinklr, Meta Business Suite) for scheduling and basic reporting; familiarity with Airtable a plus
  • A proactive, opportunity-seeking mindset — always scanning for the next moment to jump into
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Experience with social listening tools such as Dash, GWI, Brandwatch, Sprinklr, or All Ears for audience data and trend tracking

Benefits

  • We offer a competitive salary, health insurance, 401k, generous vacation, and great opportunities for growth within the company.
